Annabel completed her MSci Chemistry degree at the University of Bristol in June 2020. During her Masters research under the supervision of Professor Chris Willis, Annabel utilised photochemistry and Prins reactions to synthesise novel tricyclic drug scaffolds. Annabel is now in the final stages of her PhD with the SWBio DTP under the supervision of Professor Matthew Crump. Her research has focused on probing the unusual final stages of assembly of the leinamycin family of polyketides. In her spare time, Annabel enjoys knitting, baking and gin tasting.
