Ben graduated with an MSci in Chemistry from the University of Bristol  in 2023. He completed his final year project under the supervision of Professor Matt Crump involving protein purification of individual domains from polyketide biosynthetic pathway. Since then, he has joined the Technology Enhanced Chemical Synthesis CDT and begun a project under the joint supervision of Professors Matt Crump and Chris Willis. He is in the process of synthesising a substrate to crosslink two domains with the hope of being able to understand their interaction and function better. During his spare time, Ben enjoys playing badminton and watching anime.
