Megan graduated with an MSci in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol in 2022. Her final year project looked at modifying the procedure for the expression and purification of an 8-member protein complex, obtaining preliminary electron micrographs. She is now in her third year of her PhD under the supervision of Professor Matt Crump looking at beta-branching in polyketide biosynthesis using individual domain expression and mass spectrometry. In her free time she enjoys crochet and various styles of dance.
